I'm glad to hear from readers. Tokyo Notes is written by one person, so replies come from me, not a support desk.
I usually reply within a few days. If you don't hear back, it's worth sending again — mail occasionally gets filtered.
What's useful to send
- Corrections. Fares change, counters move, cards get discontinued. If something here is out of date, please tell me. Say which article and which line, and I'll check it against the operator's own page and fix it.
- Questions about Tokyo. If you're planning a trip and something isn't clear, ask. If the answer would help other people too, it may turn into an article.
- Accessibility information. If you've travelled Tokyo with a wheelchair, a stroller or limited mobility and found something worth knowing, I'd like to hear it.
What I can't do
- I can't plan your itinerary, make bookings for you, or act as a guide.
- I don't publish sponsored posts or paid guest articles.
- I can't help with visas, immigration or anything requiring official or legal advice — those need the relevant authority, not a travel site.
For companies
If you run a service that's genuinely useful to visitors in Tokyo, you're welcome to tell me about it. I'll only write about something after trying it myself, and any article will say plainly how I came across it. I don't accept payment in exchange for coverage.
